We’re a team of outdoor enthusiasts—but not all of us started out that way. Some of us grew up hiking, camping, and getting muddy every weekend. Others discovered the outdoors later in life, one step (or misstep) at a time.

You don’t have to be an expert to enjoy the outdoors. For some, it’s climbing mountains, sleeping in snow caves, or trail running for hours through the dark wilderness. For others, it’s a short hike with friends, eating burned sausages over a campfire or pitching a tent in the backyard. You get to shape your own version.
